sniff sniff

If anyone still manages to read this entry, WOW. I'd have defriended myself by now! Actually, is anyone still on LJ?

Anyhow, just had to post my SQUEE! somewhere over finally seeing pictures of Starz' Camelot series, showing April 2011. If you have no idea about Starz, they brought us Spartacus and Pillars of the Earth, which I have both yet to see. Spartacus I have the first season downloaded ages ago, but never found the time to watch wth.

So I love BBC's Merlin (which is full of hot) but I can't wait for this because 1) I love me some Arthurian, and 2) it has Jamie Campbell Bower (Arthur), Tamsin Egerton (Guinevere) and Joseph Fiennes (Merlin). JCB and Joseph Fiennes are hot, and I've always had a soft spot for Tamsin Egerton ever since I saw her in Mists of Avalon as young Guinevere. It's a different spin from BBC's version as this is more darker. For instance, Merlin doesn't look at all nice (morally speaking). Oh, and did I mention they also have Eva Green as Morgan le Fay and Claire Forlani as Igraine?

On a different note, I am experiencing my first ever winter and I am not liking it at all. I never even wanted it to come (unlike some people who were all CANTWAITTOSEESNOWOMG!!!!) because I get sick easily. Ever since the temperature started dropping in November, I've been sick with the sniffles/flu TWICE (and had called in sick twice; they're going to hate me) and winter has just started. :(

You're baaaaack!!! :D *hugs her*

I don't know if I'll watch Camelot but I watched Pillars of the Earth and I'm still loving it ♥ It was amazing and the cast was perfect.

I don't like winter either, I prefer autumn or spring, but I know people love the snow (I do too, but just because here where I live we never see it), so I hope you get better.

*hugs back*

I was planning on watching it, but then it just slipped my mind. It sounds awesome by the way you describe it though, so I think I may have to start getting the episodes! :D

I've never seen snow prior to this, but I was never really excited. Not a fan of getting colds, you know? :D

Hiiii :) Im still here :D

I have this love/hate thing going on with winter. I love the snow, but I hate being cold, that public transportation is not functioning properly and so on.

Get well soon!

Nice to see you're still here! ♥

Like I said, I've never experienced winter before, but I didn't like it even before I got to see and feel it. Now I hate it! Haha.

Ooooh Camelot! I will totally be watching.

I'm a Spring/Fall person especially because of the seasonal colds I get in Winter. :P Hope you feel better soon!

I admit, I am also watching just to see how Jamie Campbell Bower handles a lead character. Aside from being all easy on the eyes, of course!

I didn't like fall because it was cold, but I definitely prefer it now rather than all this white gunk!

LOL, crickets! I remember reading my flist a few months back and I'm just surprised at how less the updates are. But LJ's the only thing I know when it comes to journalling.

Arthurian legends just make me all excited!

what do you mean 'your first winter ever'? O_o

Also, I was totally jealous of you this week because you live in the Phillipines (sp?) and Darren Criss went there to play and I wanted to be there. Haha. (I don't know if you know who DC is but I love him and that's how my brain works)

Oh, I've moved to London last June. :) For work, but now because it's Christmas and I can see how Brits suck at celebrating Christmas, I want to go back home. :( And mostly because I miss celebrating with my family. Christmas has always been my favourite holiday.

So I haven't heard of Darren Criss being in the Philippines, but now I just saw someone post a video on Facebook where they saw him there. I didn't know he's touring Asia...?

I didn't know you moved! haha, they do? I never would've imagined they suck at celebrating Christmas. Interesting.

He's not touring Asia. He was just invited over there, for whatever reason. His mother's family is from Philippines.

Well, probably because I come from a country where Christmas joy starts late October/early November, and lights are everywhere -- houses, office buildings, the streets...shops don't close until 9-10 PM, and parties are everywhere! They party here too, but it's mostly dinner parties with a bit of dancing after. It's probably just a cultural thing?

Yeah, I just read he's half Filipino! That's cool, seems like he knows a few Filipino dishes (which is making me crave for some right now >.>)
